The Formula to the Solution
One day, while meditating on the word of God, I asked myself, “What is the measure of the Lord?” and I got an understanding of what it is from the Holy Ghost. In this measurement of the Lord God, we can build a formula to the solution of dying in the name of Jesus Christ by letting go of our sins, by repentance, and renewing our mind and spirit on a daily basis.
The measure of the Lord is found in this scripture quoted by Jeremiah the prophet, “He has made the earth by His power; “He has established the world by His wisdom and stretched out the heaven by His understanding.” YAHWEH is everlasting and the Lord Jesus Christ is without a limit. There is no way to come to a full estimate of the Lord God. But since we are limited and our bodies do come to an end, we can obtain a certain measure, metric, or a certain amount of the power of God, the wisdom of God, and the understanding of God through Grace by our Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Just like how we on earth measure distance and area by width, length, and height, we measure YAHWEH by His power, His wisdom, and His understanding. And as we measure location by north, east, south, and west, we come to understand that God’s power, wisdom, and understanding are in all locations and areas.
King David sings, “Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: Thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.” A cup is a limited amount of liquid, and if you fill it up past the brim, then the habitation of the liquid ceases to be limited. That is why the Lord measures wrath and iniquity in a cup as revealed by the Apostle John which reads, “…he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation…” The Lord Jesus Christ also mentions a cup as he is praying to his Father in Heaven speaking on his crucifixion because the weight of the deed upon him was extremely heavy even bringing him in so much distress he began to sweat blood. All of us have a cup of Faith and also a cup of Iniquity.Depending on how much faith you have depends on the measurement or metric of the Power, Wisdom, and Understanding you can receive from the Lord God. And what better way to receive the Power, Wisdom, and Understanding of God by drinking the blood of the Son of Man (i.e. Communion). The cup of Iniquity also has the Power, Wisdom, and Understanding of God in it too, it’s just that when a sinner drinks this cup, and drains the cup, their judgment is completed and like poison destroys the body and the sinner perishes. The only one who can take the cup of Iniquity and still be pure is the Lord Jesus Christ. This is the purpose of his crucifixion and resurrection; to be responsible for all sin so many will be saved.
But the cup of Faith replenishes you. If God is going to be able to pour into your cup of Faith, you need to do a couple of things. You need to pray first and then fast, then you need to believe in Him. If you doubt Him even for a second, it is like poking a hole in the cup of Faith which leaks out the access to the Power, Wisdom, and Understanding of YAH. Remember that the Kingdom of Heaven is a resource that never ends and therefore you can always return to the Lord and be filled with the Holy Spirit by calling on the blood of Jesus. So, which one do you choose? A cup of Faith or a cup of Iniquity? It is better to take the Fruits of the Spirit, make a smoothie of it, and drink it daily. How else can a soldier be refreshed from battle if he doesn’t drink from the cup of the Lord? Always remember that the God of Judgment and the God of Justice also has a cup of Indignation as shown here in these verses, “Then a third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, “If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand, he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation. He shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb.”
Faith is a means to survival. Noah built the ark to survive the flood. It was faith (belief, trust, and knowing the God of Israel) that saved Noah. Moses split the Sea of Reeds or the Red Sea and it was faith (even when he was afraid of the Egyptian army) that saved the children of Israel to safely cross a large body of water and other miracles that Moses performed. It was faith that saved Elijah the prophet from Jezebel’s army who called a rain of fire to burn two bands of armies that pursued him. And Jesus performed and exercised faith entirely throughout his ministry which kept him from all manners of iniquity and sin. Faith + Obedience = Righteousness. Believing that YAH exists and that Jesus Christ died and rose again, knowing the Word of God and keeping it close in your heart, and trusting that this invisible God is forever present, alive, and active is what brings you closer to Him. And when He speaks to you and tells you to do something (i.e. obedience) you will be accounted as being righteous. The Lord Jesus also obeyed the Heavenly Father through and through with nothing holding him back, not even Simon Peter or Judas Iscariot. Hence the name The Lord Our Righteousness. In order for us to receive the great gift of the Holy Ghost (and the power thereof) we have to follow the instructions and the ways of Jesus Christ explained in the four gospels. Pay close attention to how Jesus Christ lived during his ministry. Don’t try to be more than who He is because “...no servant is greater than their Master…” but do your best to live as He did so you can receive the Holy Ghost and be a part of the Body of Christ. The Apostles’ epistles give us a deeper look into how to achieve that call to repentance and living as Christ lived.
Storing up faith is a spiritual action. The reason why Abraham is titled as the Father of Faith is because no matter how long it took for God to communicate with him, he never doubted or questioned God. He revered God and knew in time things would come to pass. In the meantime, Abraham lived with the promise of a son close to his heart and he didn’t let anyone deter him away from that promise being fulfilled neither did he disobey God. Well in old age he still laid down with his wife and when God asked Abraham to sacrifice his long-awaited son Isaac he still decided to do so. The watchers in Heaven take note of these things and add points to a board. That is why people say that faith is like a currency. If faith was something tangible it would be like oil because oil can be applied to almost anything. You can use oil for food, or as a chemical, or as an adhesive, or even for clothing, and also for human skin, but no matter what you use oil for, it is useful if applied rightly (and wisdom is applied knowledge). It is the same with faith. If you apply your faith into God by calling on Jesus Christ name, the name of Jesus Christ will allow you to borrow the power of His hand to move on your behalf and for God’s benefit (i.e. His glory). Try not to confuse faith as a golden ticket; the golden ticket is grace and the person who has everlasting grace is Jesus Christ in whom we believe in which we can only enter into Heaven by. But faith is a substance as the Apostle Paul states in the book of Hebrews. A substance used in the spiritual realm. And oil is a substance that we use here on earth for many different things. Apply your faith to your spirit and activate the power of the Holy Ghost by calling on Jesus’ name. Amen.
And lastly, to complete the work of Faith, Apostle Peter lays out some ingredients to the solution in his second epistle, and quoted “And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; and to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; and to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
To bring this chapter to a close, one of the most important ingredients of this solution is charity. Earthy love is most likely lust when you break it down. The love that we attain to and aspire to require is based on physicality, personality, and carnality. But Heavenly love is sacrifice and charity. The Lord Jesus Christ told the disciples as they were on the way to Jerusalem this “…but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister; and whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant:” And just like King David who served the 600 families that travelled with him while king Saul pursued him made David the greatest king that ever lived (besides Jesus Christ of course). And like Moses who ministered unto God and served the rebellious and faithless Israelites of his time, made his name ring throughout all generations. That is also why the Lord Jesus stated that “Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.” If we apply that piece of scripture to its proper Heavenly application, it is basically referring to the Lord’s sacrifice. That’s why our daily sacrifice is praise and worship because that is the love we give to YAHWEH for all that He is and what He does for us and to Jesus Christ for paying the ultimate price and to the Holy Ghost who keeps us in the mind and ways of the Lord God. No more animal sacrifices for the atonement for our sins. If we believe in Jesus Christ whose blood is priceless and worthy and sufficient enough for us to be accepted in the family of God, then the blood of Jesus Christ will save you. Loving your neighbor as you love yourself should not be taken as a form of carnal love, but an act of love. And loving the LORD God with all your heart, mind, and soul is completed by sacrificing your own will (desires) for God’s will and to bring charity to all of the people surrounding you (i.e. your neighbors).
