The Mystery of the Wedding Supper

The Second Epistle by Apostle Quran

The Bread of Life

Now let us examine what the wedding supper will be like in Heaven. “And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.” (‭‭John‬ ‭6‬:‭35‬) You should ask yourself, what is bread to people? Bread strengthens you when you are frail in your bones. It restores you back to health to continue to work. This is the reason why we often say as Christians “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” (‭‭Philippians‬ ‭4‬:‭13‬) His body, which is the word of God, is our daily bread. And when we are weak in the Spirit, the word of God replenishes and strengthens us to continue to fight spiritual wickedness in high places.

I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.” (‭‭John‬ ‭6‬:‭51‬) Jesus explains here that his spiritual flesh is our daily bread, the word of God, and when we continue to partake of it we choose eternal life. He did die for our sins and was raised back to life and he did ascend into Heaven with the same body that he resurrected from. And now we can understand the power of the body of Christ, which is also the true and sanctified church. All principalities, in Heaven, Earth, and under the Earth, are all within the Lordship of the Lord Jesus Christ including the powers of them all as well. He knows all and has seen it all. He orders the angels in Heaven and command the actions of the devils and demons below.

The Body and the Blood

The Jews therefore strove among themselves, saying, How can this man give us his flesh to eat? Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you. Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day. For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him. As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me. This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever.” (‭‭John‬ ‭6‬:‭52‬-‭58‬) The true desire for all men is to live forever. That is why we find streets and cities and countries and put our names in those places. That is why we start businesses and have children to give our names a legacy. But we lost the ability to live forever because of the fall of Adam and Eve. But because of the rise of Jesus Christ from the dead, we now are able to live forever again when we believe and submit to the lordship of the Lord Jesus Christ. And here is how we can do so. Eating the flesh of the son of Man is not a carnal thing, it is a spiritual essence that we partake of to stay within the domain of the Holy Spirit, by reading the word of God and obeying it. Drinking the blood of the son of Man is not a carnal thing either. It is also a spiritual transaction to deliver the measurement of the Lord and to make atonement for all man-kind sins. This is why the practice of Communion in the church is extremely important. The miracles and gifts and peace that you are looking for is within the body and blood of the Lord Jesus Christ.

And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body. And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it; for this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father's kingdom.” (‭‭Matthew‬ ‭26‬:‭26‬-‭29‬) Welcome to the “Last” Supper. The twelve disciples gather around Jesus as He eats his last meal with them before his crucifixion and persecution. But He tells them in the last verse that he won’t drink again until they are in the Kingdom of Heaven. Why is the flesh and blood of the Son of Man so important in the church of Jesus Christ? Meditate on this verse as I explain this phenomenon, “Surely He has borne our griefs And carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.” (Isaiah‬ ‭53‬:‭4‬-‭5‬)

The Power Within

When Jesus Christ healed the sick and cured the blind and restored the lepers, he was absorbing the sin of those he touched into his own body like a sponge soaking up water. The reason for this verse here, “Yet it pleased God to bruise him…” (Isaiah 53:10) is because God saw His son literally intake the sin of others into his body and then when his body was being broken from lacerations, it was like a sponge being rung out of all the filthiness that it picked up from cleaning. This is how we build ourselves up in the Spirit. We first sacrifice our desires (which is really sin) and lay them on the cross. How? By confessing your sins and making repentance to Jesus Christ in prayer and fasting. Secondly, we believe in Him and all that He has done for us according to the Bible. And third, we read the word of God to continue in our faith. Once you do that consistently, you will eventually be fit enough to perform miracles in the church as Jesus Christ did in His ministry. The blood of the son of Man is where we ask for the approval of the ultimate cleanser of all cleansing items, the blood of Christ. If Jesus’ body is the sponge, the blood of him is the disinfectant spray. You clean out your soul by pleading the blood of Jesus over yourself and others. You clean out your area or environment by pleading the blood of Jesus over it so demons won’t enter into that space to torment you. Doing this with a couple of Psalms and prayer and fasting and communion will grant you the access to the power of the Lord Jesus and him moving on behalf of the believer who is calling on Him.
