Life & Death
If the wages of sin is death, then that means the blood of Jesus Christ is eternal life. “And the LORD said unto Cain, Where is Abel thy brother? And he said, I know not: Am I my brother’s keeper? And he said, What hast thou done? The voice of thy brother’s blood crieth unto me from the ground.” Genesis 4:9-10. This verse here explains to the reader that God is a Spirit and sees and knows things we do not see or know of unless it is revealed to us. The blood of a person/creature is the life of that person/creature, and when someone sheds it, you remove what keeps them intact or put together (Deuteronomy 12:16). Same as when you remove the foundation or structure of a building that it is built upon. Also, the LORD asks Cain where is his brother? You see, the answer is in the question. Death is separation. That is why we fear death because we know once our lifeline (the blood) is cut off, we are now separated from what kept us alive. And life is a gift. “Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempeth he any man: but every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth death. Do not err, my beloved brethren.” James 1:13-16. Sin is shown here in the process of cultivation and birth. The word tempt (in Hebrew) is defined as “to test” or “to try”. When evil tests you or tries to get you to do what is evil in the sight of the Lord, and you give into it, you have now created a Spiritual avatar, which is a distorted and deformed version of yourself. God does not tempt people. He is not tempted with evil Himself because He is way above such things. Once the lust that you have cultivated/collected for yourself is formulated (conceived or birthed) by the continuous actions of sin, that Spiritual avatar that I mentioned earlier grows from a little puppy dog to a ferocious Wolf ready to eat you alive. So, if it eats you alive it’ll eventually drag you away from life. And as we discovered earlier, death is separation from life. And who holds the key to eternal life? “For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.” Leviticus 17:11. The Old Testament leaves a lot of clues and hints if you pay close attention. People probably think that this verse is only referring to the animal sacrifices, and it was, but not just the sacrifice of the different animals, but the ultimate sacrifice of the Blood of the Lamb. If the life of the flesh is in the blood, then blood can only be repaid by blood. Atonement in Hebrew means “to cover” and that is what the blood upon the altar is for. To cover our sins with the Blood of the Mighty Lord Jesus Christ (Hallelujah!) is the only way we pay our debt to YAH because we have done works in the flesh producing poisonous fruit (sin) that YAHWEH will not gather to Himself or partake of. “And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it, for this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.” Matthew 26:27-28. Death is separation from eternal life (take Adam and Eve for example). Jesus died for our sins, shedding his blood on the cross. ✝️ The cross is the new altar. The cross is your burden to bear with what life has given you, taught you, and worked on you. Your blood on the new altar (the cross) is not sufficient for YAH because the lust of the world is in the heart of each person. And once the lust is generated continually it is never satisfied, (Genesis 6:5) forever breeding abominable acts in the face of the Heavenly Father. The only blood that is strong and rich enough to atone (to cover) the burden of that new altar is Jesus Christ’s blood. Once you accept Jesus as your Lord and savior, confess your sins plainly to him, and ask for the Blood of Christ Jesus, the blood will be applied to the new altar, and all the wear and tear on the new altar will be cleansed, but the new altar does not go away. You carry it no matter the weight just as Jesus did to his crucifixion and use it to communicate with God and make daily sacrifices on it, which is prayer and fasting (Matthew 16:24). “God met with him, and Balaam said, “I have prepared seven altars, and on each altar, I have offered a bull and a ram. The LORD put a word in Balaam’s mouth and said, “Go back to Balak and give him this word.” Numbers 23:4-5 Balaam was ordered to curse the Israelites because of their indubitable success and the jealousy of Balak, a king of the Moabites. I am using this story to illustrate how to engage with The Heavenly Father, through Jesus Christ, The Great Intercessor (who sits at his right hand). Even though Balaam was not an Israelite, he was still able to meet with the Angel of the Lord by using these seven altars and seven sacrifices. The power demonstrated here was through the God of Israel. Now considering this new altar, the One who checks to see if your sacrifices are good enough is Jesus Christ. He owns that new altar because His blood is on it now. And if He comes back to find it in the same condition it was before he applied his blood to it, “there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth”. To end this section off, let’s examine the following scripture: “Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.” Proverbs 18:21. Depending on what you say and how you say it, it can affect a person’s soul. The adage “sticks and stones may break your bones, but words will never hurt me” is a lie among lies. This verse proves that whatever word that you plant into spiritual soil it will eventually take root and corrupt the entire ecosystem of a person’s soul or even the environment. This is why people who do witchcraft chant and murmur. This is why people lie. This why people produce malice, contempt, cunning, dark sayings, and the like. You should be very careful of what you say, because you can separate yourself from life by saying the wrong thing or add unto life by the fruit that you produce from your spirit.
