Fruit of the Spirit Prayer

Dear Lord,

As I live throughout my day, I pray to be more like Christ. I understand through the knowledge and wisdom gifted to me, that the Fruit of the Spirit, are the characteristics of the Lord Jesus Christ. I pray that as I walk in my journey that I partake of the fruit of the spirit, allowing me to be more like the King of the Hebrews, Yeshua Hamashiach. Dear Lord, I pray to eat of the fruit of the spirit which is love. Christ Jesus has commanded that we are to love one another as we love ourselves. But most importantly, we are to love the Heavenly Father YAH with all of our heart, mind, and soul. I pray to partake of this fruit of the spirit which is love to be selfless, sacrificial, have unconditional commitment to the well being of others, steadfast, enduring, patient, kind, and not jealous. Dear Lord, I pray to eat of the fruit of the spirit which is joy. To have a sensation in helping others get back to Jesus, to share the goodness of God, and to be excited in my past time with family, friends, and the like. I pray to partake of this fruit of the spirit which is joy to have inner contentment and satisfaction. Dear Lord, I pray to eat of the fruit of the spirit which is peace. To have true freedom in Christ, mental calm, a state of holiness, completeness in the spirit, and well-being in my life. I pray to partake of the fruit of the spirit which is peace which does not come from the world, but from the Prince of Peace himself. Dear Lord, I pray to eat of the fruit of the spirit which is long-suffering. In order to endure until the end, I need to have patience in spite of troubles; especially those caused by other people. I pray to partake in this fruit of the spirit which is long-suffering so I can be able to run this race and see the Lord at the finish line. Dear Lord, I pray to eat of the fruit of the spirit which is gentleness, to have the quality of being kind, tender, and mild-mannered towards my troubles and those who intend to trouble me. I partake this fruit of the spirit which is gentleness, to be more like Christ and his compassion for the multiple multitudes. Dear Lord, I pray to eat of the fruit of the spirit which is faith, to have complete trust, confidence, and a strong belief in The Heavenly Father YAH and his son The Lord Jesus Christ, accompanied with love for them both. Faith is the substance of things not seen. It is the material that God uses in Heaven as it is on earth, by His will that will be done. I pray to partake of the fruit of the spirit which is faith, to strengthen me in my walk with Christ, and to prepare me for the perilous times ahead. Dear Lord, I pray to eat of the fruit of the spirit which is meekness, to be in total submission to the commandments from the Lord. The scripture says that man should not eat on bread alone but on every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. Teach me O Lord how to hear your voice so that I can run, jump, skip, and hop to your instructions and commands. I partake of this fruit of the spirit, to fashion myself more like Christ who was obedient to your will and His mission on earth. Dear Lord, I pray to eat of the fruit of the spirit which is temperance, which could also be said as self-control. In order for me to be more like Christ, I have to control myself and kill the desires of my flesh, because it is corruptible. I partake of this fruit of the spirit which is self-control, to be still while the Lord answers, works, and judges. If I walk by the Spirit, let the Spirit of God lead the way. Let your truth shine on me, so as I work in the earth, I store my treasures in Heaven and not here on earth where everything is temporary. I pray with the power of a true spiritual tongue that I become full in the Spirit after I am partaking the fruit of the Spirit to be more like Jesus. Amen!
