The Book of Romans by Apostle Paul:
A Deeper Look into Faith Part 1
Chapter 1
Chapter 1
Romans 1:1-7
Apostle Paul addresses the church of Rome. He acknowledges first and foremost his position in the Kingdom of Heaven granted by YAH our Father and his son the Lord Jesus Christ. By first giving praise and worship to the ones who have accredited him as an Apostle.
Romans 1:8-17
Verse eight through nine, Apostle Paul mentions that he is grateful for the faith that is mentioned about the church of Rome throughout all lands. He also mentions that he continually prays for them. That goes to show that a part of being an Apostle is to have a strong prayer life. Verse ten through eleven shows Apostle Paul’s desire to go to the church of Rome with the intention of giving them a spiritual gift (which is most likely the gift of faith) to help them establish their church forever more. In verse twelve he says something interesting that the faith that he wishes to give to them is like comfort to those who share the faith. Faith is supposed to be shared amongst the church and not coveted. In verses thirteen and fourteen, Paul mentions that he wanted to be there sooner than possible but was led to different places more than often. And therefore, since that was the case, he owes them what he was set out to do. In verse sixteen, he shows that not only is faith supposed to be shared amongst the Jews (those who are a part of the true seed and faith of Israel), but also to the Greeks. It is the power that comes from God unto salvation that great faith is given to those who believes, no matter their ethnicity or background. In verse seventeen, he wraps the introduction up by explaining the beginning of faith. The beginning of faith is that the righteousness of God is revealed through the steps of going from one level of faith to the next level of faith. And then, he uses scripture to back up his claim stating that “the just shall live by faith”.
Romans 1:18-23
The wrath of God is in the form of justice and judgments that are seen across history and the world. The wrath of God is spoken in heaven first and then it is spoken by a called prophet/prophetess to the earth at an appointed time that God sets himself. He shows His wrath to the ungodly and unrighteous; those who are the opposite of God and those who don’t believe in Him. They holding unto truth in unrighteousness shows that there is a half truth that excites men and makes them believe that they are equal to God. He leaves the ungodly and unrighteous to pursue their own truths, because eventually they all will come to the conclusion that there is a supreme creator who has created all things, even the things that they do not see but do become revealed to them. Scientists do this often. Scientists study the deeper parts of nature to give them meaning. They combine substances, materials, and matter. They open things that shouldn’t be open and combine things together that should not be combined. They experiment with man, animals, and nature all to arrive at the end of their study, that they cannot create nor destroy what God created or destroyed. They say that “energy” cannot be created nor destroyed, but if you replace the word “energy” with “spirit” then you will understand that’s what they really mean. And God allows this to be, so they have no excuse that there surely is a living God who created all by his omnipotence and omniscience. And because that the ungodly and unrighteous have discovered God and what he has created, they liken themselves to be like Him because of their discovery, driving deeper into darkness because of their ‘vain imaginations’. Paul explains in verse twenty-two perfectly a truth that still stands until this day. Scientists, philosophers, and psychologists – all originating from Greek culture and studies – have taken the creation of YAHWEH and put a new name, label, and face on it being their own names and own faces and calling it their own when it is actually YAH’s because the hate in their hearts that they have for Him is greater than their belief and love for Him. That is why Paul states ‘changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man’. (Now I can see why Paul was hated so much.)
Romans 1:24-25
Because the Greek culture and studies perverted God’s creation and inverted the truth that he set in all His creation, God gave them over to the things that they proclaimed to be true, when they were false truths, to settle their accounts to what they believed. When and if you worship the creature more than the Creator, the Creator who owns the creature will allow the creature to fulfill its purpose, even if that goes as far into killing you. So, Apostle Paul is firmly making the reader understand first the danger of unbelief in the Father God, the Son of God, and the Holy Ghost. The punishment always is that YAH will give you what you love, if you don’t love Him. That is why Jesus Christ stated that you are supposed to ‘love your neighbor as you love yourself’ and ‘love the Lord your God with all of your heart, all of your mind, and all of your soul’ because if you don’t love the Lord God as such, he will allow what you love to consume you. Most of the things that men love are unclean things. But God is Holy, which is uncorruptible and far beyond our understanding. And if everything on earth is temporary and corruptible, then the logical reason (for the scientists out there) is to turn to someone that never dies, which is Jesus Christ. Christ stated that he is ‘the truth, the way, and the life’. When you love corruptible and unnatural things, you will be given death. Why? Because whatever is corruptible cannot exist in space or time or outside of it and what is unnatural cannot exist under the firmament for too long, because it was not created for the earth that YAH created for men to have dominion over.
Romans 1:26-32
Therefore, verses twenty-six and twenty-seven show what happens when you leave the natural for the unnatural. Women lay with women and men lay with men, bringing nothing but corruption in the body, which eventually leads to death and unnatural circumstances like sexual transmitted diseases or destroying the body to fit the unrequited needs that their hearts so desperately want. When this is done to an excessive amount, we then get a person who has a reprobate mind. A reprobate mind is an un-changing mind and cannot be redeemed. Just like a water mill that continues to spin, a reprobate mind continues in sin and cannot be shut off until the water dries up. Verses twenty-nine through thirty-one list all the sins which produce a reprobate mind if done to an excessive amount. The reason that those who do these things do not retain the knowledge of God in their minds is because of their ‘vain imaginations’. Remember at the beginning of this book that this is because of ungodliness and unrighteousness which are those who are opposite of God and do not believe (have faith) in Him, even when the evidence is evident. Verse thirty-two pronounces the biggest sin is that you know that God will judge such people, but regardless of you knowing that, you continue to participate and support the ungodly and unrighteous. This provides them that have no faith in YAH to continue and expand their unrighteousness to others which then makes you an enemy to Elohim.
